I think it's very important especially when you break a book into two movies... that you pay attention to details. People will always have problems, but overall I thought the aesthetic of HP7.2 was great. The white limbo sequence wasn't quite as I would've liked, but everything else was amazing. It didn't look like it was filmed for 3-D either... which was very nice being a 2-D viewer.

The first definition in dictionary.com says - (noun) something added to complete a thing, supply a deficiency, or reinforce or extend a whole. My lay person definition from memory may not be perfect, but it's pretty darn close. To "take the place of something that's missing" is the same as "supply a deficiency."

I'm always willing to embrace a new paradigm shift, as long as it's a step forward, not backwards. My fear is that Apple is shifting towards the non-pro market, which makes no sense to me at all. Apple has invested and made great strides with FCP over the years. Why abandon their user base now, and target the the iMovie crowd looking to step up? Isn't that what Final Cut Express is for? ...I'm just saddened by this whole fiasco.
